Love in Translation
Exhibition by HBX New York and Meta Prosper
HBX New York, in collaboration with Meta Prosper, presented the intimate group exhibition “Love in Translation,” which I helped curate and managed the media partnership for. The exhibition explored parental love within the AAPI community, highlighting how Asian Americans experienced love from their parents, even without explicit expressions like “I love you.”
Connie Chweh, the gallery curator and art director, was inspired by shared AAPI experiences. The show featured works from seven talented AAPI artists working in photography, sculpture, canvas, and digital art.
